IH 504 Hyd fluid level

Where is the hyd. fluid level indicator located on the IH 504 model. 1967 year model.

It's the check level plug (1/2" NPT) ahead of the clutch pedal. The rear frame and center section of the tractor use Hy-Tran which also serves as the hydraulic fluid. That means you have a ten gallon hydraulic reservoir. The IPTO has its own level plug.

Think about getting an Operator's manual. You could learn alot more about your tractor.
