Redoing my farmall M i purchassed and found some water in my oil so i pulled the head off. The serial stamps the engine to be a Plain old M but someone must of bored it out to a Super M because my piston bore size is 3.999 inches. I need to get a new head gasket but don"t know what to get. Did the super M and Plain M use the same block so all i need to get is a head gasket for a super? Has anyone ran into this before?

Thanks for your help!

your m has not been bored out. it has been overehauled with oversize pistons and thinner walled sleeves just like the other quarter million m's that are still out there have. same head gasket no difference.

The Farmall M through the Farmall 450 all use the same head gasket. Do a Google search.
