Went to salvage yard with friend one time and I didn't have have checkbook saw fixer upper 660 diesel,went back the next day to deal on it,already under fire wrench.Makes you sick!! Scott

That's unfortunate but I would have bought the rear axles, wheels, and rims that were scattered on the ground and put them on an earlier tractor.

Just think. A W-400 with F-560 ring and pinion, 19/54 first gear, working TA, and planetaries might have a top speed of less than .5 MPH in low gear - low range. Maybe .2 MPH at idle. 5th gear might max out at 6 MPH.

Now you are all setup to move lighthouses from eroding beach fronts.

i saw alot of the old iron horses being carted of to the scrap yards when steel was real high not to long ago???even though people were getting 600/800 bucks for some of them...shame on them!

I cried !!!!!
