this may be a dumb question but that never stopped me before....

how can you tell whether or not tires have tubes without breaking the beads?

how much do you suppose it would cost to put fluid in the rear tires of a 300 utility?... I don't know the tire size offhand

thanks

There are no dumb questions, only dumb answers.

The valve stem on a tubed tire will be sticking through the hole. You can move it to verify that it is not fastened to the wheel.

The valve stem on a tubeless tire will have a shoulder that forms on the hole like a grommet to seal the air.

Bend the stem. If you can see the edge of the hole in the steel rim and the tube below, then you know it is not tubeless. Also, most if not all rear tube stems have a 1/2" thread and nut to retain the stem in the hole while putting the tire together.

You can also look at your car or truck tires to see tubeless stems. Or go to Walmart to see one in a package.

Well if it has factory rims it has tubes in them. The tire will be about a 12.4X28 give or take a size or to. Filling with fluid will take about 32 gal. of fluid for each give or take a few gal. Plus the CACL or wiper fluid etc

You should have specified front or rear tires.

Since you mention fluid, you must mean REAR tires.

The valve stem should be attached to the rim with a nut, whether tubed or tubeless.

I have never seen a tubeless rear tractor tire, but I suppose such a thing could exist...
