C-123...will c-135 head fit?

Wondering if a c-135 head will pit on the c-123 block and if so how much advantage is it

First there is probably no advantage to the 135 head. It may be less powerful. The chamber might be larger, reducing compression.
I think I remember a discussion of 135 heads that included a early and late head number that were not interchangeable due to the number of head bolts. Check the parts listing on line at caseih.com Jim

If you will put the two side by side you will see the difference

Check how many head bolts the 135 head has. If it has nine it will fit! It should have bigger intake and exhaust valves and a smaller combustion chamber. It will perk up your 123 a little bit! That is if you have the A thru C style head.
