Did they make such a tractor? and what is one worht diesel non running, needs tires, no hitch or rockshaft for hitch just strait drawbar??? freeze plug out.average looking. I know nothing about the value of a tractor like this. Thanks Rick 560 diesel standard

IH made an INTERNATIONAL 560. IH dropped the Standard nomenclature by then. Farmall was reserved for the row crop version.

Yes they did. More commonly reffered to as a "wheatland", but it was of the non-adjustable tread, standard design. A tractor in the condition you describe would be worth not much more than scrap value. Last I heard the price for scrap iron is right at $200 per ton, and I'm guessing the weight of that tractor at about 6,000#, or 3 tons, so I'd place a dollar value of between $600 to $1,000.

All the Farmalls were row crop tractors. There was a International 560 standard tractor which is what you are referring to. Value depends on condition, location, and how much you want it.

well if your confused , i am sure the tin work on the tractor will say Farmall or International. As mentioned the farmall is the row crop model and will have narrow tires. the International will have 18.4x30 tires on rear. two different looking tractors that can be picked out at a long distance.

ok its an international, said I dont know much about the red ones, poor tires no hitch cant even put one on it, may or may not run, dont know if any damage to it or no, freeze plug is out, no liquid in radiator, diesel, average looking. value to you please, Arkansas located I really dont know if I want it or not.

Yes, you can put a Fast Hitch or aftermarket 3pth if the floorboard is removed. See picture of 660 in another recent thread.

Until the owner gets it ready for a test drive, I wouldn't pay more than scrap price.

This is my 560 Wheatland (standard). Headlights in front, round fenders, steering column under the dash, no 3-point, 30" rubber. From what I can tell, about 6000 made, so kinda rare. I hate to see them scrapped. It would be a good one to restore, if that's what it is.

Doesn't sound like this one's gonna be ready for a test drive any time soon...

Sounds like it needs some major engine work at the very least, with the freeze plug being out of it...

If it was a project that I'd be willing to tackle, I'd pay up to double scrap value for it ($1000-$1200 IMHO) because it's a "rare" tractor.
