Hello, Have rebuilt c-264 on f-400 . Everything new done by reputable machine shop.I have put about 3hrs on it in yard over few days,Then I hooked it to a pto fan sprayer to run under load being I do not have dyno, Its all it can pull. Ran approx 4 hours at diferent speeds. What is conserning me is when hot and heavy pull it puts out good amount of blow by and the breather tube is moist with water and few droplets of water. Is this to be expected or do I have a problem?? T.I.A. Tony

Water could be condensation...depends on temp and humidity level. Rings on a newly rebuilt engine need to "seat," or wear in until they seal on the cylinder walls. Cheome rings are harder to seat/take longer to seat than cast rings, becaus thy're harder material.

So part of the question would depend on what rings were used. The other part of the equation would be whether or not you're losing any vital fluids. Monitor coolant and oil levels, and act/react from there.
