Need lower pull arm - 1466

Hi everyone. I'm in need of the lower left pull arm (3 pt cat III) on a 1466 tractor. I have emailed several salvage places and only 1 responded with a no....the rest never replied.

Any thoughts as to where I can get one?
 
We need more information. What happen to the original lower pull arm? Did it break? Was it stolen or lost? A good blacksmith can repair or make almost anything. Let us know what happens. Also where are you located? Armand

Lower arm where it connects to the draft control rod broke off and the end is gone. Previous owner just welded the swivel into the arm. Was looking to replace the whole arm when I replace all the draft control seals (which are leaking horribly).
 
Smith repair in Mayfield, KY. They sell aftermarket IH parts and has a IH salvage yard. He has several arms for 66 series IH tractors. Shipps nation wide. 270-247-2219 ask for steve.
 
The 10, 14, and 15 66's all use the same arm. Try calling it a lift arm, see if that helps.
 
A lot of these places are run by old-school business people. They put up a website at the behest of a younger family member, under the auspices that it would be good for business.

The problem is, they made no plans for how to handle the email. I've seen it hundreds of times... Nobody told Grandma, who still runs the office with paper ledgers, that there was an email address now. Not that she has the time or the know-how to deal with it.

CALL CALL CALL. A phone call works wonders.

You can get indignant about it, they shouldn't have an email address if they're not going to respond to it, blah blah blah... But, it's YOU that needs the part. Obviously email didn't work, so the next step is to pick up the phone and actually TALK to someone.
