Correct Overhaul Kit for New Block?

I have a 1949 Super A which recently had a cracked block which is not repairable. The engine was a C113 engine which cracked. I was able to find a replacement C123 block whose casting number was 354898R1 and the serial number on the engine was CM136118 which appears to have come on the later Super A, Super C's, and some other models. I plan to order a Basic Engine Overhaul Kit from this website with part number BEKH1159-LCB to replace the "guts" of the block (Crankshaft is being ground and bearings will be acquired from machine shop, Also valve train is in good working order). I would just like to verify that this is the correct Engine Overhaul Kit for my block's casting and serial numbers. Also it appears that only stepped head pistons are available for this block on the website. Any additional concerns with stepped head pistons as the previous pistons were flat?Any opinions would be highly appreciated.
 
There are two sleeve spigot diameters. Measure yours to assure the correct sleeves are ordered. Measure across where the lower Orings are located from metal to meatl. Jim
 
Better pull a sleve first befor ordering to get the measurements for the new sleeve. You mite be able to go to 3 1/4 bore giving you 135cu in and around 27 or so HP. Last price quoted was 52.oo oer hole.
 

The sleeve diameter was 3 7/16 at the seal so the overhaul kit I asked about should be correct.

Gene: I do not have the old sleeves for my "new" C123 block to measure. It came as a bare block.
 
The diameters are 3-5/16" and 3-7/16". You should be able to use the 3-1/4" sleeve kit without any machining to your block. Be sure to buy your insert bearings from the shop that's doing your crankshaft. Your sleeves should measure 7-1/16" in length. Hal
 
If thats what it measures you can go with the 3 1/4 bore hi-dome giving you 135 cu in and 26 or so HP. I was quoted 52.00 per hole.
