Super C Trans rebuild

I got the trans in my #2 Super C taken apart. So far the top deck is off, brake drums, bull pinion retainers, axles & housings, bull gears and differential are all removed. Torque tube is removed and drive shaft and yoke are off.
All that was pretty easy.
It's not clear to me how to get the trans gears out. I need to replace the oiler gear.
Please help with a step by step so I don't tear anything up.

Thanks in advance.

You need to remove the top shaft just to get to the bottom where the oiler gear is.shouldnt be that hardd to see how to do it.

It's not obvious to me. That's why I requested some help.

I have the yoke off and removed the 3 bolts that hold the seal retainer in place. I removed the woodruff key and the C clip. I tried to gently tap the assembly back and the top gears hit the bottom gears before there is any clearance to be able to remove the assembly. That's where I stopped till I get some more information.

Get yourself a service manual and a parts manual.
I did a similar job on the transmission and rear end of my Super A. I know that the transmission of the Super C is highly similar to that of the Super A, but I'm not sure about the differential.
On the Super A I first removed the PTO assembly and entire differential, because both the input shaft of the transmission and the output shaft of the transmission come out toward the rear. (If you need to remove the differential keep track of any shims so you can mount them in their original position!)
Just in front of the rear bearing of the input shaft of the transmission there is a bushing held in place by 1/8 inch thick pin (placed diametrically through bushing and shaft). (I cannot remember if this is just a bushing or the hub of a gear.) Punch this pin out. Pull front bearing from input shaft of the transmission and slide the input shaft of the transmission rearwards while the four gears are kept more or less in position. Remove shaft and gears form case.
Remove cover, bearing retainer and bearing at the front end of the (lower) output shaft. Again, watch the shims. Pull the output shaft of the transmission rearward while the five gears (oiler gear included) are kept more or less in position. Fish gears out of case. Mount in reverse sequence.
Note: take notes before disassembly or take photographs which enables you to replace parts in their original position and with the correct orientation.

Assuming a C is fairly similar to an H...
You never said anything about removing the stuff on the back side of the partition by the bull pinions. There is that swirly gear and three (?) bolts for a bearing holder that come out. Then you just slide it back and take it out.

EDIT - LOOKING AT MY REFERENCE PICTURES THIS POST IS WRONG. The bolts are on the front side of the partition and the gear stays with the rest. Looks like I brought it out the front side??? That was two years ago. Good thing I took pictures!

That's the info I needed.

I do have the IT and parts manuals. I was under the impression the gears stayed on the shaft and came out as an assembly.

Thanks for your help.

Never worked for me. Don't see how I could remove the whole shaft and gears as an assembly out of the transmission case, neither for the input shaft nor for the output shaft.
Good luck.

They do. Here's a picture to prove it. They came out just like that.

The bolts I am talking about are on the right side of this pic.

In defense of the guy who said it is pretty straight forward, it really is. I did mine w/o an I&T manual and the service manual doesn't say chit. BTW, looks like the swirly gear stays on. Just the carrier needs to be unbolted judging by my pic. ALSO, if your C doesn't look like the picture I probably have no idea what I am talking about

That is not what my SC looks like. It looks closer the my SH or maybe the M I had the top cover off of one time.

What tractor is that?

I don't have a C. The neighbors do and it looks like a mini H so I would guess the trans is closer to an H than a C. Must not be.

Do some google searches. There is a lot of good info out there besides the stuff on yt.
