H oil leak fixed

I had the oil leak on the rt side of the engine. Went to TSC. Bought a roll of cork gasket for $7.99, a tube of sealer for $5.99. Cleaned it up and cut out a new gasket. It worked! I still have over half the gasket material left for the next project. Just passing it along. Thanks to who ever suggested it here. Jim

Good for you, it feels good when you make a fix yourself doesn't it?

My motorcycle would stop charging if I rode it in the rain so for a couple years I'd never ride if there was any chance of it raining. Then I realized that the stator plate had no gasket at all... I went to FLAPS and got a roll of gasket paper and made myself a gasket, no issues since then and I don't have to worry.
