D282 Tach drive

We have a D282 engine in a International 3800 backhoe loader. I believe it's the same engine that's used in a 706 and 656 tractor. How do I remove the tach drive from the block? Is it threaded into the block? If so, does the side cover need to be removed?

It is a light press fit. You should be able to pry and tap it out rather easily.
