Could someone tell me what is the correct model of generator used on a 47 Farmall B? Did these also use the same 4" adjustable pulley?

Original 47B had 1101423 or 1101355 with Delco Remy 1116766 cut-out three brushes with the third one adjustable and fixed pulley those adjustable were on the Hand MS. The 4 position lite sw. I have a couple As and Bs with original set-ups they work fine any other questions.

My '47 B came to me with a 3-brush and adjustable pulley. Only number I see on the genny is stamped on the case and looks like 8020 with maybe 111 above that. Is that genny off of an H or SM?

Yes it would have been from the H or M as they used the adjustable ones. Knowing Delco Remy changed #s every time they turned around is quite a story. I have a repair book and looking at the model# of their gens is interesting. The one used on the A and B arent even listed in that book but numbers close are so go figure. I have a couple of gens for the H and M never got around to looking at what numbers are on them. But i am familiar with how they charge in their systems. Its neat that a system used 70 plus yrs old will still work when they are in condition.

Now I know why that pulley wasn't in the B parts book. Looked the genny up under the H. I agree 6v system in condition is fine.
