300 fast hitch

Is a 300 fast hitch worth much? I know of one at scrap yard but hes wanting 120 for it, just wonding what they go for, and are they the same as the one on SC. Thanks
 
(1) SC and 300 FH are not the same.

(2) If in a scrap yard, it is almost certainly incomplete.

(3) If you are asking this question, it presumes that you are not familiar with FH's. So how do you know what you may be buying? Trust in the seller? Good luck on that. He may not be trying to scam you. He just may be as uninformed as you

(4) $120 is a good price for any complete FH.

(5) Goto the CaseIH online parts book and print out the exploded view of the 300 hitch before doing the deal.
 
My brother found it, its on the tractor that they are getting ready to cut-up, I dont think he knows anything about one, he just the scrap man, and he said 120, I dont know much either thats why I asked, I have a SC with one on it, was hoping they might be the same.
 
SC and 300 are not even the same size point. But that is a really good price, if you can get all of it including the hoses and cyl it would be good to resale or trade down the road.(Should be worth 275.00 to 300.00)
 
I think it is complete, I know it does include the cylinder, but I'm not close to it, if I was I would get it so it wouldnt get scraped, but its in FL. if anyone is interesred in it he said that he would hold of on cutting up the tractor for couple of days, I could get a name or number if anyone wanted.
 
Not that familiar with the overall mechanics of the 300 F-H, but I believe you would need the correct valve from under the dash and the linkage also. I know my 240U has a feed back cable, don't know if the 300 does or not. I know there is a heck of a lot more to it than just the obvious 2 point mechanicals you see under and behind the tractor. It would be good property if you ever come across a 300 without F-H.
