Farmall 240 hydraulics getting too hot

Hydraulics on the Farmall 240 are getting too hot. I recently had a problem with the teledepth valve sticking and causing the pump seal to blow out. Puts the hydraulic fluid into the crankcase. Pump has been repaired, and I replaced the teledepth valve body with a hydratouch valve. The way it is set up now, there are two hydratouch valve bodies on the left side of center, and a block with no fittings then another hydratouch valve with remotes on the right side. I assume that I am not getting enough flow to keep it cool, or running too high of pressure. Any thoughts?

My guess would be the flow is dumping over a relief valve, so the pump is running at high pressure all the time. I'm not famiiar with the system without a schematic, so would not know why it's doing it, but chances are that's the problem. In order to warm the system up on some machines, we would deadhead a valve and run it over the main or a circuit relief... warms it up pretty fast. If there is a pressure port somewhare between the pump and valves somewhere, you could plumb a gauge in and see pretty quickly what it's doing. Not sure what the system main relief is, but I'd guess under 2000psi, 2500 for sure because it's an older design gear pump.
