H brake drum seals 2 or 4?

Need to replace seals behind brake drums on H. Is one seal per side sufficient, or are two per side necessary?

Just use two. The new neoprene seals are far superior to the original felt ones. Also you can position them so that they avoid the worn area,in other words drive them in a little past the worn area on the shaft so they have a fresh surface..

Any idea what the seal #s are? I need to replace mine but haven,t pulled it apart yet.

Seal #'s:
Original---20290D, later revision---357770R91, later, later revision----357774R91

Put grease in between the 2 seals if you choose to go that way. Provides lube for the outer seal.
