distillate or gas manifold

I have a Super A with distilate manifold. Considering replacement due to condition. Any advantage to gas manifold over distilate manifold? It has ran with the Distilate manifold for 40 years with gas, just curious if any increase in performance.

Yes, the gasoline manifold has better flow characteristics, thus the performance will be an improvement. Besides that, the gasoline manifold is the only one that you can get new. The distillate manifold is obsolete and not being re-produced.

You will be making 16.16 hp instead of 16 with the gas manifold. :lol:
