Update on H conversion to Live Hydraulic

I wanted to install the live hydraulics on the H and leave as many things original as possible. I changed out the front cover and gears to one from a 300, along with the pump.

A 5 gallon hydraulic tank from Northern fits nicely in where the belt pulley was. I am fabricating a plate to cover that and mount the tank to.

I mounted a cross dual hydraulic valve under the seat. The outlets of the valve are piped directly to the pioneer couplers. I reach under the front of the seat to operate.

The lift all is intact.

I need to mill an outlet block for the pump, put hoses on and it is done.

Sure the belly reservoir is fine if all you're doing is running an 8" cylinder, but if you're running a loader or log splitter or any other larger hydraulic, you want some extra capacity.

With 5 gallons the oil will stay cool with regular use, too.
