I'm looking to do a rebuild. I have block#354898 r1 on the side of the block. Can I get the 3 1/4 pistons for this one? I've been told there are two different blocks. I'm looking to do alittle pulling, and would like to try and go big. I also picked up a set of frame weights, cast# 361158r118 is what it looks like. Are these for a C or somthing else.....THANKS FOR ANY INFO MUCH APPRCIATED!!!!!!
 
The Block you Have is a Super C Block and will Accecpt the 3 1/4 Pistons!

This will Give you 133cid and with the Right Parts to go with the Bottom end you Can Acheave Between 29 up to 50+ HP depending what you Want To Do!

I Have Ran This Combo in a Super C On the NATPA Curcut and Won a few in 3250 Div 3 with 14.9x36 Cut Tires!

I Also Have a Tamer Verson in a BN that Runs 13.6x28 Non Cut tires !

Frame weights are Knot Needed unless you plan on useing a Fast Hitch equitment etc and Farming !

You Need Weight Brackets So you can Adjust your weights For Pulling !

Yes, it will accept 3.25 in sleeves, measure the diameter of the bore at the seal at the bottom of the bore, or the outside diameter of the bottom of the old sleeves. Should measure 3 7/16. That is a double check to make sure it has not been modified. Far as I know there were no frame weights for a C.
 
They're not terriby obvious in the picture, but there were frame weights for the C/SC, that mount to the front implement-mounting pads and wrap forward out around the grille.

I got mine from Steiner's back ten years ago or so. They may still have them -- they've been listed intermittently over the years since in the paper edition of their catalog.

Could be, but they are aftermarket, I meant factory weights. I suppose a mounted plow might require them, don't know of anything any heavier during C production. Situation now is different with aftermarket 3 points allowing heavier implements, also fast hitch on the SC.
