Regular flat fan belt

Need some help with belt size! I am putting together a Regular ordered belt # 14040 from Rice. There is no adjustment room left belt is to long fan hits shroud on top. Frank at Rice said F-20 flat belt is shorter? so I ordered one
# 20270 Same exact size. So one I have is maked with wrong part #. Is F-20 belt shorter than Regular? Thank oldiron29
 

No, The Regular belt should be shorter. The Regular uses a slightly smaller bottom pulley and hence a shorter belt. And I think all I have now is the long ones. I messed up and ordered too many.
 
I just got 20270-D for my f-20 from Fordson house. Haven't put it on but it is a laced belt instead of a endless belt. Fordsonhouse gives a number of 14040-DB for a regular.
 
Thanks Howard I will be on the phone with Rice in the AM. Sure do wish I could take you up on that room share. I am so bummed I can't make it this year. I will get to some local shows and that will have to do. When you get home from RPRU I need to see if you have a monroe EZ ride seat and steering post bracket for a 39'

I sold a couple Monroes to a fellow in Carolina but may be able to come up with one more. Hey, I found something neat yesterday. A Kneodler seat for an early H or M using the rail style flip-over pan. I'd never seen one before.
