Hydraulic fluid in an M belly pump

Does anyone have any experience using Hy-tran fluid in an M with a belly pump? I'd like to use the same fluid in all my tractors, preferrably Hy-tran since I sometimes use the same implements on the M's and my Hydro 70. I already have been using it with no problems but was wondering if there was any reason I shouldn't. Any input is appreciated.

It's fine, you may find that the pump starts leaking due to the thinner (10 wt equivalent) fluid, maybe not.

That's all I use. IM(not so)HO it is stupid to use anything else unless you have dedicated letter series equipment because the SAE 30 will mix with the hydraulic fluid from the implement.
I do agree that it may leak more if the seals are bad. If it leaks, fix it! I just did every seal in my MD and I don't think I spent $30 on the project. The worst part was the big seal for splitting the pump/res in half. The biggest PITA in the project was lining up the controller arm thing with the other thingy.
