Am restoring a 300 Utility... one of the outer brake drums is worn down to about 1/4 inch thickness... what is the wear tolerance?
Anybody know of a source for a useable replacement?

Thanks
Alex

If you are discussing the housing (and not the disks)
The answer is replace it, If you want to try it you can machine down the surface that touches the dif housing to compensate for the wear. The total stack thickness should have .030" to .050" free space when the adjustment is totally loose. Jim
