IH Model 91 Selfpropelled Combine

I"m digging a 60"s IH model 91 combine out of the corner of the shed to clean up and sell. Could anyone tell me if it has a 6 or 12 volt elecrical system in it? Thanks

The best way to tell is look at the generator (or alternator). If it is an alternator it is 99.9 percent likely to be a 12 volt and the generator (if so equipped) will identify the voltage on the build tag.

If it don't say on the generator, sometimes it also says on the starter. What kind of heads do you have for it? Where abouts do you live? How much would you ask for the whole set up? Thanks steve

Hey, Thanks for all the input. I'll look closer at the generator and starter.I'm thinking 1960s models should have been 12 volt. I've got just the grain head thats on it. I just saw one on tractorhouse for $2500 and now it's gone so I guess I'm going to start there. I'm just south of LaCrosse. Thanks again

Lets us know how she runs,i would put in on this website ,plus put it in wisconsin state farmer.Shes alittle far for me,iam in the se corner. Thanks ,good luck
