F-30 Front Pedestal Spacer

I am changing my 1936 F-30 from rubber to steel wheels. The rear tires were 36 inch rims. I can see the spacer between the bottom of the pedestal and the axle, but how do I take it out? Thanks for any help. BT

if you take the spacer out, you will need the whole new vertical steering shaft to make it correct. the sahft is one pieces from the top to the bottom

it can be done, but it is a fair amount of work for lowering your trator 2 inches. I personally wouldnt even worry about it, it'll look just fine with the steel on it
