Thinking about going wide on my 300 - which will fit?

I don't care if it's original 300 or not. I'll keep the narrow front if I ever decide to go nostalgic.

Which models will fit? Without mods? With mods? Please provide some detail of mods needed.

The wide front from a Farmall; H, SH, 300, 350, and 460 will fit your 300 although there will be some differences between the models. Some others can be "made to fit".

Farmall H through 350 will be a direct fit. Anything else will require modifications or changing out some parts.
