McCormick Deering O-20

Hi everyone,
Last year I read an artical in Farm collector magazine about a proto type /experimental O-20 Orchard tractor I believe I have located a similar tractor that has the same International gas engine works tags on the tub and the engine and other similar parts. . It looks to have f-20 engine and full orchard fenders but is somewhat larger than a o-12/o-14. Does anyone have info on production numbers or any other info? serial number is q-3185 on the tub and a close number on the engine . Thank you, Larry

Sounds like a 10-20 orchard....

No, A 10-20 orchard does not have a f-20 engine and accessories and it is a totally different tub,trans etc.The fenders look just like an 0-12/O-14 but are larger and has a molded area for the air cleaner that is mounted similar to a 10-20 orchard. .The radiator is different than a 10-20 and o-12....maybe similar to a w-30.I have a 10-20 california orchard special and this is a totally different unit. I believe the fellow that has the other one is Mike Androvich???.

A W30 would look similar but it too has the larger engine. Maybe an interesting project would be to build a standard tread 20.

Can you post a picture?The rest of us would would like to see this rare tractor.Where are you?Was this tthis tractor a 'special' built for a specific area/region/use?

There is a fellow in Modesto, CA who goes by the handle "AHINKLE" on the Red Power Magazine forum who has one. I'll try to attach a pic.

That would be Andrew's O-20 alright. it is an experimental, but as you can see shes rough. I talked to him about selling it last fall. I didnt want to cough up that much money for whats there. Definately a neat machine though

Here are some pictures of the O-20. It spent most of it's working years in Redlands Ca. and has been yard art for over 25 years .It's next trip within 2 weeks was to go to the scrapper but we intercepted it .Thanks everyone for your help.Does anyone know how mny were produced? How many might still exist?
