Can you help my older neighbor figure out what model Farmall

Hi, My neighbor doesn't do computers, I'd like to help him by finding out what model this is, and ordering the manual for it. Thank you in advance. If you could tell me what model, and where to order the manual, I would be most grateful!

FAA Left of seat Bracket - FAA 354372

A picture would tell us in about 2 seconds. But you say the ser# tag is on the left seat bracket. That leads me to think you have a Farmall A,B OR BN. What kind of front end dose it have? 2 wheels close together or spread apart? If they are close together you have a B or BN, If spread apart you have a A. Assuming it is the right bracket for the tractor it's a 1940. Is it electric start?

You appear to have a 1954 Farmall Super A. As to the manual, I use binderbooks dot com for most of mine. Best of luck, Sam

Does it look like this Farmall A? Hal

As Tractorsam said, it is a 1954 Farmall Super A. The 1954 serial numbers started with 353348.

You also cant be sure the seat bracket is original with the tractor. What is the serial # on the block beneath the #1 spark plug. Your tractor doesent have to have hy just because its a SA according to your # posted.

I thought it was a Super A with the serial number you posted. Look under No1 sparkplug on the engine block near the radiator for a smooth machined surface and see what the engine number is. It will be covered with layers of paint and dirt. Hal

Does the tractor have the levers as shown in the picture that I posted. They're used for raising and lowering the plow and tilting the plow point?
Hal
PS: Post several pictures of the tractor.
