Most common problems when a mechanical ta goes bad is the ta clutch or the ta ramp and rollers are bad.

Describe the issues it is having, Even Kevin (an Expert on these) can only guess with out info. If it is not broken, just keep using it. Always move the lever very rapidly in and out of TA Jim
