424 Tractor

Got a 424 gas tractor that has not been running for 4 years. It is stuck any ideas on how to get it loose again?
Thanks.

Start by pulling the plugs and filling the cylinders with your favourite penetrating fluid. If you think it's only lightly stuck jack up one rear wheel and put it in high gear, periodically rock this wheel back and forth and hope for the best. Beyond that you're looking at an overhaul. Sam

Put it in high gear, jack up one rear wheel at a time, and place a 4X4 under the wheel shch that it will roll off of the wood going forward.
This puts continuous correct direction force on the engine without your effort. Do as tractor San indicates with Auto trans fluid in each spark plug hole. (at least a quarter cup)
heating the engine with a external tank type winter coolant heater will sure be a help as well. Unless it has had the exhaust open to the rain, it will likely come loose. Jim
