My dad has a 1965 Farmall tractor and I was wondering how I can find the what model it is. We are needing to replace the fan belt on it and we are having trouble finding one for it. Please help....

A picture would be fast. Looking at the pictures to the left will also help.
A plate will be (hopefully) attached to the frame near the starter motor, or under the seat if it is an offset. Jim

Easiest way is to take a picture and post it up, if not you can go on a site like tractordata and look at the models around that time frame. Go to Farmall and do the sort by year feature.

Your best start is to either post a picture of it on this forum or find one that looks like it in the "Tractor Photo's" section on the left. After that we can help you find a serial number and identify your tractor. Best of luck, Sam

If you don't know the model, how can you be sure it's a 1965? My dad bought a "new" 1954 Super C in 1956, so there are carryover models. It might be a year or even two older than you think.
I'd go to external_link as the easiest way. Searching through the pictures at left can take a while. Also, you will still need to match up engine size or serial numbers, as many sizes will look the same in a picture.
