have old austin western grader w/ihc diesel start on gas switch to diesel have fuel through filters and fuel to inj pump guage on pump reads operating range no fuel to injectors been sitting for 4-5 years ran like a top when parked i-t manuals dont say much bleed system like manual says still not at injectors any advise would be appreciated thanks in advance

Not meaning to cause insult here but does it have a separate throttle for the diesel side? I know the M's and Super M's have a dedicated throttle and with it running on gas (or switched to diesel for that matter) you won't even get so much as a dribble out of the injectors until you open that throttle up some. Best of luck, Sam

If throttle is working ok like suggested, you should be able to take off the oil filler at pump and see if the rack mechanism is moving when you push and pull throttle. Plunger in pump may well be stuck and rack is not rotating it. But be gentle with it if it is stuck.

I would guess you mean there is no fuel coming out injectors when trying to bleed them? Move the throttle up far enough that it will still run on gas, but barely. The fuel pump is shut off when it is running on really low idle on gas.

I agree with others, the rack in the pump is probably stuck. It is easy to remove, and can be freed up with solvent, and a little effort. Take pictures, and do not force anything. Jim
