Everyone, wonder where you would start making an offer on the following tractor. It is a 2 owner tractor. Has been sitting for the last 5 years. What would you offer for the tractor currently not running vs. if the tractor was running. Thanks for the help.

I will attach a few pictures and also include a link to an album with a few more pictures. Thanks.

(quoted from post at 21:35:40 09/19/11) If the engine is free, 1500 as is. If the engine is locked 800. Jim

Lower then I was thinking but if they would go along with that I would be happy with that, as it is going to need a new battery and all fluids changed after sitting. I hope I can buy it for that. Thank your for the reply.

If the engine could be checked for compression, oil in the water/water in the oil, and an assessment of the charging system and these were OK, 2000 would be OK. However it is a small engined tractor with a Non-live PTO, and thus has limitations. THey work for a living but you are not able to detect the patient's heart beat. Jim

Thanks for the info Jim, will see what I can come up with. It doesn't have live pto and is a smaller tractor but I would use it for cutting wood and small tasks so the bigger tractors on the farm can stay hooked up to the other machinery. Thanks again.
