Hey Guys,Me again.

Just bought an I.H."Side Hill Hitch"(Or is it "Hill Side hitch",IDK?? )For my Super M.It is not here yet,but it is fully functional and pretty good shape.(photos only, but I believe the guy.)I haggled a little, I have $90.00 in it sent to me.Was that fair?I dont see too many of them.

Here it is in the manual.
All it does is give a adjustment between the U bar and the swinging drawbar. You can "fine tune" your plow when you are plowing on "hilly" ground,or other towed items.

Mike,
"Hill Side Hitch". It really does help when you switch from throwing the furrow up hill to throwing it down.
Been so long ago I forgot about using it on the contour strips. You would use the hitch to adjust as you went around a inside curve or around an outside bend. You can adjust some by changing where your wheel is in the furrow, but on my strips, I would run out before I got all I needed.
The ford plow had an adjustment bult into the plow but you had to have it raised up to reach the handle. I thought many times about putting a hydraulic cyl on that one to adjust on the fly.

From what I have read on here Kieth,A few people did JUST THAT very thing on the 560s.They put a hydraulic cylinder on their drawbar to adjust it"on the fly". If you search it on the IH discussion forum, you can read a few post about it.

Mike,
If you look in the Implement Photo's section for a FORD 101 plow, you will see a couple 2 bottom plows with levers on them. I had a set of 4 X 16's with that lever. Was a real strech to get to that lever with the plows raised.
You will like the hill side hitch if you have any hillsides or contours.
Have a GREAT day!
Keith
