200 magneto trouble

Anyone out there know how to tell if the rotor drive
gears are in time? I have spark, but no fire issue,
in getting to the points I may have got a gear a
tooth off when accidently took that plate off the
drive gears- i don't know if that's the problem now
since I do have a spark after sanding the points.

Eric, the gears have timing marks.

Did you remove the mag or just the cover where the gears are.

Thank you for that link ! I'm having trouble
finding the mark on the lower gear- found the 2
marks, but hard to see the marked tooth.

I didnt remove the mag, just think I may have moved that drive gear by accident- but I moved it one tooth either way and still will not start, so I guess that was not the problem.
