got a farmall 350 that i just restored. got the tractor running but the rear fast hitch cylinder does not move. i rebuilt the cylinder and rear end as the system had alot of water in it. when i move the lever the engine will draw down so im sure the pump is pumping. my guess is that with water in the system something is frozen up. have never had any problems with hyd on these before so this is new to me. thanks in advance....

THe piston could be stuck in the bore, or the check valve could be frozen (rusted) shut.
With a reliable jack under the drawbar Remove the lines going to the cylinder and extra fittings) then try to move it with the jack. (do not try the hydraulics with open lines) Jim

IIRC it is on the top of the cylinder (a fitting that is about 1.5 inches long.
Hooking the two hoses together with a coupler (pipe fitting) and moving the lever will let you know if the cylinder is being given power. Also check the position of the Double acting Single Acting switch on the valves. If one is part way, that will also cause it. Jim
