Yeah, I'm sure. We can't pull that much plow around here with our heavy clay soils.

I looked up Johnson County. Just south of Indianapolis. Looks like industry is slowly (?) pushing the farms out, what with that massive white building and many homes in the background.
 
Another thought always comes to mind when I see these "plow days". Is somebody getting his plowing done for free? Or is it a "help each other" type of thing? You plow for me, I'll plow for you thing.

I'm in Minnesota and I don't think it's a very common thing here unless a farmer becomes ill or has an injury preventing him from working. Then neighbors come in and help him.
 
Yea,that farm ground is now surrounded by alot of warehouses these days.The Best Buy warehouse is right on top of it almost.

You see alot of this in Indiana anymore.Major developements going on with the same farm fields in between.

I was thinking it was kinda strange the tract housing that was right next to the field.I was wondering all day long what those people that live there think about all this "farming" that is going on right in there back yard???
