My 656 has one auxiliary valve for operating hydraulic equipment. I want to install a dual hydraulic loader. What is the best way to achieve dual hydraulics. Can I tap into the hydraulic system and add a double spool, or can I add an auxiliary valve next to the other one? Any information or web sites reccomended would be appreciated.

You have a few options here. Like other poster said, just add another valve, it bolts right along side of one you have. You will have to get a valve that is open on both sides though as the one you have most likely is closed on outside. It may have a cover plate on outside, depending on vintage of tractor. Or, you can mount a joy stick or double valve on the loader, route oil from your one valve you have and tie that valve back to hold it . Or, get a power beyond valve plate, mount that on your valve, again use a joy stick or double valve on loader. This will allow you to still use your original valve if needed for something else. Another option, electrical control valve hooked to your original valve. Lot of different choices.

I'm more interested in the "power beyond plate" I'd like to have a double spool put in a handier location. Where would I find one? An IH part?
