A friend and I made a road trip Saturday to get this 1929 22-36.

On the way home we stopped to look at a 10-20, I know it looks kinda rough, but the engine is loose and so we loaded it up too....

Great find Kirk! I went and snagged a tractor this weekend myself other than it's the wrong color. I was able to trade 50 small squares of hay for a WD-45 that has been parked for the last five years. Only took a couple of hours to get the old girl to fire. I hope you enjoy your new project! I've also got a stack of Farm Collector Magazines I'll be dropping in the mail for you too.

The 22-36 looks pretty good for being 82 years old. A man in Iowa has 2 of these he was going to restore, but found this spline worn on both tractors. He's not going to finish the restoration. Hal

those trans. inputs seem to be worn on all those tractors. would have to just get them machined, which is costly.

I thought that hub and spline could be welded together. When they went to a more powerful engine I don't think they beefed up the gears and spline in this tractor enough. Hal
