We are a little new to the diesel engines so I could use some
help. We have an IH 584 Diesel with a leak coming from the
injector pump. Its a drip that looks like it originates from the
gasket between the pump body and the manifold that distributes
to the injectors. It drips worst when the tractor is not running;
hardly noticeable when it is on. The pump is a bosch va4
10h1150cr 8. Can we just replace the gasket or is this a
symptom of something bigger? Where do we get gaskets? Do
we have to worry about anything else when we open the end of
the pump to replace the gasket?
