806 Engine

I have a 65 806 and need an engine. I would like to keep it close to original if possible. My question is which engines will work to bolt up to the trans plate? Also if you have an engine, please contact me. The engine needs to be complete as some parts had been sold before I bought it. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give.

You can use these engines 806,856,1206,1256,1456 and if you want to with a little work the 400 series. 966,1066,1466,1566 .This would be 361 407 414 436 466 cid engines.
 
270-247-2219, Smith repair in Mayfield, KY. Steve Smith runs a large tire and tractor repair shop. He sells new, used and aftermarket IH tractor parts and has a IH tractor salvage yard. He ships nation wide. I bought a complete DT 361, radiator, hood, air cleaner, everything needed from a 1206 and put it in my 856 from him. He gurantees them. A 361 or 407 will work in a 806. The 407 is the same motor just different bore and stroke.
 
Thanks a bunch Ya"ll. This info will be put to good use. I"ll call the salvage yard tomorrow. BTW just how much did the engine and rad etc from the 1206 cost?
