NAPA # for 1950 M fan belt

Take the old belt in. I bought one and had to go back about 4 times till we got it right. Would've saved some work had I just used the old one.
 
GATES belts/hoses did have at one time...and I presume still have...a pretty good catalog on agricultural/industrial equipment. More than likely, it won't be on the computer...need to get the "old guy" at NAPA/O'Reileys to help you. Taking the old belt with you helps also.

Not sure about the NAPA number, but my Farmall M with Delco Remy generator takes a Bosch 13A0955 belt. I bought Bosch because that is what the local Autobarn had in stock. Seems to work OK.

Be prepared the next time you go to NAPA. Look up the IH part # then go to NAPA web site and find the box for searching a part #. Put the IH # in and check the interchange box. Or go to agriculture tractors or heavy equipment and try to find the application for the tractor. Or just take the IH part # to the store and all the counter person has to do is hit a few buttons on the cumputer, don't even need to know what a tractor is.
I'm dumber than a sled track on a computer, so if I can do it you can.
Regular duty belt from crank to coolant pump and fan, IH # 16131DA = NAPA-NBH 2528454. Heavy duty belt IH # 277448R1 = NAPA- NBH 2530467. Heavy duty listed as around 34 bucks at a store 10 miles from me. Other one cheaper.
 

Or just order it on-line using the IH part number. You'll have it in about 2 days, and most likely at a lower price.

Yup, and they want $33.99 for it. Not at my local store, but it is "at the warehouse" which means I could get it the following day.
