3 point for C

I found an aftermarket 3 point for my Farmall C. Looks to be more or less complete but I am unsure how it mounts to the tractor. Does it bolt up to the axle housing with a clamp or special brackets?

Anyone know what brand it is or where I can find a manual for it on the web? Appreciate any info.

just from looking at it.. looks like it hooks to eaither side of rear, plus has pieces that est on the back sid eof the axles. likely needs them funny angle bent u bolts like holds fenders on.. or bolts and a backer bracket.. either would likely work.. torch and allthread will make them bent ubolts. :)

(quoted from post at 11:11:58 01/12/12) Take a look at your Super C where the drawbar bracket bolts on. That's where this attaches.

I have a C, not a Super C. I don't have any brackets to mount it to.

The brackets fit in the slots on the axle housings. They have to be from a C or Super C because of the shape of the housings. However the spacing of the brackets, and the spacing of the upper and lower bolts in the brackets are identical on the C through at least the 560. Thus a 3 point from an H or M will also fit, although it might not lift high enough on a C. H,M hitches will not operate off the front rockshaft of the C, though. Best if the C hitch has its own cylinder. I can't tell from the pictures if the hitch will fit. It must be attached to the brackets.
