IMO, around here in Minnesota , you are priced right, even a touch low. I don t see many with single fronts...I don t know if that helps or hurts the price on a SH.

Maybe worth that, yours is a Stage 1, Stage 2's in that condition would not bring less than $2500. But, provided the engine and trans are in good condition, paint is decent, ok tires, 2100 is probably not too high. Single front doesn't mean much as the fronts are interchangeable on Farmall tractors.

Rear tires are not that good but I do have a dual front end to go with it if you think that would help. Maybe economy has something to do with it as well. Maybe it will go this spring. thanks Rick

Was the tractor a distillate fuel one or just had the radiator shutters at one time? Serial suffix may tell that.
Been some years back that I bought a straight stage 2 SH distillate in your state for close to $1800. Has anything changed about the engine since you ask what it was worth in August?

Did SH tractors come with that air cleaner? I thought by that year all the H and M were equipped with the glass jar cleaner (Donaldson?).

Is it 12 volt? Lights look like 12v to me. Just wondering.

LA in WI

Around Houston: that's a little high, & the single front wheel is a deal killer. Recently sold a 53 stage 2 SH in mediocre to poor condition for $1500. It sat forever, with a single front wheel, till I included tricycle pedestal and rims.

Had 2 callers claim that it had to be a 54 model because the battery box was under the seat.

I have a 53 stage 1 SH, pictured, that local experts claim is not a super because the battery box is not under the seat.

Big lack of knowledge.

I believe the economy is hurting you also. Bad if you need to sell but really good if you want to buy. I am picking up some wanted implements and bought a 54 Super C with FH for cheap.

They are a bit harder to steer when equipped with the single. I would swap the other front end and sell it with the single as a bonus. The price is a good starting point, but I would not go below 1800. Jim

Most SH's and SM's and many H's and M's for that matter had the glass jar, but the one in the picture was standard. The pancake lights were on all SH and SM's, the 6 and 12 volt look the same.

Having used both NF and SF on the same H tractor in the 50's I seldom noticed the difference, the ground has to be pretty loose. For cultivation it probably turned around easier, but on the vegetable farm we had we never used the NF for cultivation. The NF would have better flotation though. SF were common in S Texas where I grew up.

Around my area: Central NY, $2100 is the upper end for a good clean Stage 1 SH with good rubber and no issues, no weights and the single front end might detract a tad...maybe $1800ish. 'Bout the only reason anyone around here uses a single front wheel is for pulling.

Looks like a pretty clean, straight tractor, so should bring close to what folks on here are saying if you follow their advice. Only thing I would add to it would be to pressure wash all the leaking oil off it, and invest a few hours in greasing all the hydraulic seals that are leaking to get them to hold for a few months before trying to sell it again.

Unless the other side looks like it went through Hell with the blowers on full blast, it doesn't appear to need repainting first. Good luck!

I would think $2100 would be a fine starting point. I would expect having to go down 10% to get it sold.
