I'm pulling a engine out of a 1929 22-36, i was wondering if there are any tricks to getting it out?
i have the two front bolts out, and i also removed the four bolts holding the bell housing.
Do i half to remove the belt drive assembly? or will the bell housing plate slide out from under it?
Thanks for any info

no tricks at all and very simple. yes belt pully has to come off. also dowl pins at rear of engine. nothing hard just take a look and you can see what needs to come off. 1 hr. job.

You have to remove the bolts from the drive coupler that couple the engine to the transmission, otherwise the engine will never come out.
