Please help, IH 444????

I recently purchased what I have been told is an IH 444, I cannot confirm because the tag is not legible I can only make out the ser # which is 05869 but I need help finding some pistons, rings and a set of pushrods, I have the casting # off the block which is 388575R2 can anyone please offer me any advice on finding parts?? or possibly positively identifying this? the cylinder bores measure 3.375 and is a 4 cylinder gas, it appears as though this is a sleeveless engine thanks in advance to anyone that offers me any info

caseih.com shows engine parts and does not indicate they are obsolete. Put 444 in the model box. select the first 444 diesel tractor (says european, but ignore that). Pistons and sleeves are shown. Jim

Hi, the British build but US assembled 444 gas tractor used a C-153 US built engine. There should be C-153 stamped on right side of engine by distributor. Go to caseih.com search for parts and enter C-153 in search field.

The engine block part number matches the 444 and 2444 industrial tractors.

Unless it says "Industrial" on the grill between the headlights, you've got a 444.

My 2444 has just the IH logo on the top of the grill. It has the standard grill. My operators manual does show a picture of the Heavy Duty Grill with the logo and INDUSTRIAL below the logo.
