Farmall H tire size

1952 H standard size from factory; 11(12.4)X 38 rear 5:50 X 16 front, factory options; 10(11.2) X 38 rear, and 6:00 X 16 front or single 7:50 x 16 front. Anything other than these sizes would have been installed locally, not factory.
Harold H

I put new 11.2 on one of my H tractors and they look pretty skinny actually. I don't like over size tires but I wish I had gone with 12.4.

Some of the local tractor pulling organizations only allow two sizes over factory so It looks like 14.9 x 38 would be it. I would rather go with 15.5 for a lower profile.

10/11.2 or 11/12.4. Unless you are a puller, which I know zero about, the largest you need is 12.4. This comes from somwhere around 5000 hours of experience on an H in the 50's. Good traction, very little slippage with 1 set of wheel weights and loaded tires.

1951 H parts book lists 38 inch rims in 9,10,11 and 12 inch wide sizes. tire size listed to use from narrow to wide. 9X38, 10X38, 11X38 and 12x38. New size for 12X38 is 13.6X38. Looks like you could go 2 sizes above that, but a 14.9 may outpull a 15.5 traction wise.

I put new 11.2x38 on my SH last year. They are TOO SMALL!I wish I had spent the extra money and bought 12.4s,or even 13.6s.

You wanted to know what they came from the factory with. The H came with 10-38's and the Super H came with 11-38's.
