560 gas manifold

Replaceing the exh.manifold w/aftermarket ,found that ex.outlet will not lne up with hole in hood. Cusomer doesnt want hood cut. Any one else run into this and what was done? Thanks

Return it and get an OEM manifold that fits right?

The customer might not like how much it costs, but he won't let you cut the hood...

Don't know what else to tell you... or what you were expecting for an answer... It's not like you can bend the casting. Cutting and welding might be an option but you'd want a pro to do it probably.

Bite the bullet and get one from CaseIH. Also, on my 460U (underneath exhaust) I replaced either the intake or exhaust with aftermarket, did not fit and had to buy a replacement from CaseIH. They can't be mixed and fit right.

Type the following into ebay. They make a special adaptor for those manifolds so you do not have to cut a hole in the hood. I have never used one, but remember seeing them.
