The operator station is really cramped on account of the battery box taking up a lot of space. Has any one relocated the battery and put on an H seat ? If so, where did you put the battery ? Any other tips after doing it once ?

Thanks

Greg

Hang the box off the side like W models. Maybe you should check the 300-350 Utility models to see how they were built.

I've never noticed any difference between the under tank and under seat, but I'm only 5'9". The seat is adjustable. Without looking at mine perhaps you could pick up a couple of inches by drilling a couple of more holes in the seat base or base cover -- maybe not. Also there may not be holes in the trans cover for the H seat.

there is 2 holes in the platform the will line up with a monroe type seat like an H would have. we made a battey tray the mounted ahead of the brake pedals using the two mounting hole sticking out of the rear and ta housing. On our tractor this battery relocation came about due to original battery box being rusted out and it was not able to hold the seat anymore. I agree it does make the platform a little more roomy.
