Repairing grill for Farmall c

I have removed the grill from my Farmall C in order to repair it. There are three sheet metal parts; radiator top, center grill with wire mesh, bottom skirt. Can they be separated to hammer out the dents, bent sections; or,are they spot welded together ?
What is the best method to straighten out the center section which is pushed in.

Mine came apart when I was trying to beat it straight. I ended up brazing it back together. To fix the individual bands of the grill section is pure art work and requires patience and a good eye. I hope you do well.

They're spot welded together. CAN be separated, but you'd have to be real careful not to cause more damange than you're trying to solve.

They sell dies to use on the grill "slats" - you can find them on ebay for about $60.

But you might be surprised at how soft the grill metal actually is. I've found you can straighten them out pretty well by hand - either squeezing them together, pushing them out, or pounding with the heel of your hand.

Then a flat hammer on any creased or badly misshapen parts.

Obviously depends on how bent they are. You can also buy any one of the three sections if it's too far gone - but they're not cheap.
