parts tractor for a 354 international diesel

i came across a 374 international diesel today,
stoped and checked it out.mostly complete, minus
starter, back tires, and maybe a hd line.

was running, through a rod. asking 750.00

i am needing a stering sector for my 354,
and this 374 has a good tight one.
will it fit my 354?

he priced me just the sector for 250.00,
but i would like to have the whole thing if parts will interchange.

stering sector, brakes, clutch,injecters, hd pump,
fuel cap, head, and a few other little parts?

Hi, looking at an OEM parts supplier and most common parts fit the following tractors:
Case/IH 354, 374, 384, 444, B250, B275, B414, BD276, BD3434, BD434.

"Should" work, As far a I know the 374 was a UK tractor that was out a year before the 384. The 374 wasn't sold in the US or Canada.

the guy told me it was from canada.

from what i could tell, it looked just like a 354.

hate to buy it and the parts not fit.

i can not find much on a 374,
case-ih does not show a thing.

If you decide to buy it I would be interested in some parts for my 364 if they will fit and you want to sell them.

All I know on the 374 was it was limited production right before the 384, read about it in an issue of Classic Tractor, I think the only real difference between 374 and 384 was the sheet metal.

495man, im needing the parts to fit a 354.
some places say some parts will fit, some places say different.

i just hate to have 800 in it and not beable to use it.

I suggest checking parts interchange part numbers between a 354 and 384 and see what is the same, I just checked steering boxes on Messicks and they are different parts numbers.....better safe than sorry.

I'm sure if you bought it you could get your money back by selling parts. Just the engine parts should get your money back, rods, head, camshaft, crank, etc.

i know 354 does not have power steering, but does a 384? i was thinking they did.
